“I play energy, not notes!” is Nathan’s motto. He calls his music SOUND MEDICINE. “When I was younger, I wanted to heal people of cancer with my horn, because my mother passed from it.”
Jazz, improvisation, hip-hop and funk have been a steady part of Nathan’s musical expression. He uses all his jazz knowledge, love of hip-hop growing up, funk, and early church influences as the ingredients for his beats/compositions. Enveloping energy, healing sounds, unique beats.
