As a vibraphonist, Will Wedmedyk has performed throughout Ohio in a variety of groups that feature anything from jazz to pop music. While the instrument he plays lends itself to more classic jazz, as a bandleader and composer, he explores an exciting fusion of modern jazz, funk, rock, and pop music in his original compositions.
The fusion of conflicting genres opens expressive doors that excitingly lead the listeners and musicians to strange and familiar places. As a result, his all star band of Northeast Ohio’s top musicians tell a deeper story by exploring the complexities of modern life through their performances.
