Sharon Rae North Enchanting chart-topping smooth jazz vocalist returns to her native Ohio for a not-to-miss evening at BLU!

Sharon Rae North’s star is on the rise. ‘Lonely Nites’ the latest single from her latest Smooth Jazz EP. Sincerely Yours has been climbing charts nationwide, including the Billboard Smooth Jazz chart, going as high as #15. Songs from the project have also been charting in the U.K. The album also was a first ballot contender in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category for the Grammy Awards. In July, ahead of her return to the studio to begin recording her next project, she will release one last single from Sincerely Yours.
 

 
When asked how long she’s been singing, the Youngstown native responds, “As long as I can remember. I can’t recall a time when singing was not part of my daily routine. It’s just part of who I am.”
 
Sharon, now a national artist herself, has opened for other national artists. In May, she opened for legendary jazz pianist Bob James at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk Virginia. She’s also opened for the late Joe Sample and the Jazz Crusaders, Lonnie Liston Smith and many others.
 
Her last CD “Gee Baby” collection of straight-ahead jazz standards followed in the footsteps of her first studio CD, “The Way You Make Me Feel”, a Smooth Jazz/Adult Contemporary project which continues to receive airplay in global markets.
