Cincinnati-based trio, On a Limb, consists of Andrew Haug (p), Noah Simionides (b), and Charlie Schefft (d). The band takes an improvisational approach to original compositions as well as interpretations of their favorite music (John Coltrane, Sufjan Stevens, Chopin, The Beatles, etc.). On a Limb was featured at the 2017 Dayton Jazz Festival, shared the stage with Glenn Zaleski Trio, and frequently performs with critically-acclaimed group, Animal Mother.
Each member brings their individual personality to the group to create a unique and highly-interactive sound. The band’s deep chemistry allows them to be vulnerable and express themselves openly. On a Limb is one of the most exciting and original piano trios in Cincinnati.
