Maria Jacobs is a national smooth jazz recording artist whose original song, Pour Me A Cup of Yesterday, is heard on smooth jazz stations across the country. It also charted on the Groove Jazz Charts alongside of Diana Krall, Walter Beasley and many others.
 
Maria has released five solo albums, and has opened for Chuck Mangione and Bob Dorough. She performs in historic Cleveland Venues, such as Severance Hall (where she sang solo with the Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus;) Playhouse Square; Nighttown and BLU Jazz+ to name a few.
 
She lived, performed and recorded in Los Angeles for twelve years. Those she recorded with included Alphonso Johnson and Ndugu Chancler, formerly of Weather Report. Maria has written over 100 songs and is a royalty earning member of ASCAP. She is a licensed music educator, holds two bachelor degrees (journalism and music education) and teaches privately out of her home studio in Stow, and The Carthon Conservatory in Glenville.
