Flood” was the eighteenth album by Herbie Hancock, recorded live in Japan in 1975. Hancock remains one of the most influential jazz pianists working today and was one of the primary architects of the post-bop sound.


 

 
FLIPPO is a Columbus, OH based jazz group displaying instrumental virtuosity and creative energy in the spirit of sonic colors and innovation born of the “funk” and “jazz/rock fusion” movements of the 1970’s and beyond. The band features Michael Cox on sax, Dennis Hodges on guitar, Erik Augis on keyboards, Andy Woodson on bass, Louis Tsamous on drums, Lucas Holmes on keyboards, and Zach Compston on percussion.
