Alex Hoyt Quartet Top-notch Akron local group brings a jazz-minded approach to rhythms from Cuba, Brazil, and Africa! Featuring Alex Hoyt, Matt DeRubertis, Dan Kshywonis, Clay Chabola.

Alex Hoyt, a graduate of the University of Akron, spent years in Miami, Florida where he fully immersed himself in many varieties of Latin, Afro-Cuban, and other world music. He has performed with Sammy Figueroa, Tony Succar, Andy Montañez, Tito Allen, and Luisito Carrion to name a few!
 
Now home in Akron, Ohio, he has combined his efforts with Dan Kshywonis, a longtime friend and local drummer extraordinaire. Together with stellar University of Akron graduates Matt DeRubertis (bass) and Clay Chabola (percussion), the Alex Hoyt Quartet provides a night of music for the jazz and world music fan alike!
