This fall, performers will hit the stage at BLU Jazz+ in confidence knowing that they are playing into microphones made by one of the music industry’s top pro-audio manufacturers.
As part of an exclusive two-year sponsorship agreement between Audio-Technica and BLU Jazz+, the venue will be outfitted with an arsenal of the brand’s dynamic & condenser microphones. The gear will be used in a wide range of stage applications, ranging from live performance to recording.
“We couldn’t be more excited about partnering with such a world-class brand,” said Mike Wyatt II, VP of Talent & Events at BLU Jazz+. “Audio-Technica makes such a versatile line of high-quality products. We love the local connection, too,” referring to the company’s close proximity to Akron, with North American HQ in Stow, OH. “We hope to see our friends from Audio-Technica down here at BLU Jazz+ often.”
Marketing Director of Professional Products at Audio-Technica, Gary Boss, also looks forward to the opportunity for A-T’s microphones to be in the spotlight at Akron’s new premier destination for live jazz.
“This was a no brainer for Audio-Technica. As a native Akronite, I was personally excited to see a new dedicated live music venue in Akron. A-T feels that both the Jazz genre and the new club will be an excellent way to showcase a wide array of our mics to both patrons and musician’s alike,” said Boss.
Established in 1962, Audio-Technica is a worldwide group of companies devoted to the design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of problem-solving audio equipment. Initially known for state-of-the-art phonograph cartridges, A-T now creates high-performance microphones, headphones, wireless systems, mixers and electronic products for home and professional use.
