“Miles Ahead” VIP Film Screening & Afterparty Concert

This special “night on the town” marked the film debut of Akron’s own, Theron Brown, with an exclusive screening of Sony Pictures Classics’ “Miles Ahead” at The Nightlight, followed by a live concert at BLU with an all-star band! Featuring Theron Brown, Chris Coles, Dan Pappalardo, Zaire Darden, and special guest, Jon Lampley!
Co-presented by Steinway Piano Gallery Cleveland, this unforgettable evening in Akron’s Historic Arts District celebrated the highly-anticipated arrival of acclaimed actor/director Don Cheadle’s film “Miles Ahead,” which follows the journey of iconic trumpeter Miles Davis (played by Cheadle) as he bursts out of his silent period and forms a musical comeback.
The band played to an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd – a very special night to remember at BLU Jazz+!
